Forming a unique part of the animal kingdom, corals have built the only living entity visible from space; the Great Barrier Reef. Activities — Snorkelling - Breathtaking and Beautiful

Our snorkelling takes place in coral gardens close to the boat, in shallow depths, teeming with colourful fish and marine life. Throughout the day our staff will happily take you on a guided snorkel tour and explain the wonders of the deep. Comprehensive snorkelling instructions and special floatation vests are available for the first time or nervous snorkeler.

You don’t have to swim far. Generally depths range from a meter or less to many meters, depending on whether you are cruising over the reef flats or swimming along one of the drop offs. Our moorings are located very close to the reef which means easy access.

We also carry an extensive library of fish and coral identification books, so if we can’t identify that special fish you saw, we can usually look it up. Throughout the trip staff will conduct reef briefs both formal and informal and on every trip we usually discover something new. The amazing thing about the Great Barrier Reef is that it is not a “fenced” wildlife park. It has no borders, and is pretty much as it has been for thousands of years. Combined with low passengers numbers and exclusive moorings, you’ll have every chance to spot that rare or elusive fish you have dreamed about.

During winter we provide 3 mm full length wetsuits free of charge and during the summer –full length sun suits. Prescription masks are available with 24 hours notice.
