CAMERA HIREHere on Coral Sea Dreaming, we have available great quality cameras for hire. We have 4 of the latest Olympus tough TG4’s encased in a bullet proof Ikelite housing. Guaranteed to never flood and take an amazing shot. These cameras specifically have underwater settings with an inbuilt red filter, photo compression setting to give a 3rd dimension and shoot in raw mode to give a very high resolution for super sharp images whilst either snorkelling or diving at depth. You can either use these cameras for shooting film or hire one of our GoPro’s if you prefer using a smaller device to capture those lasting memories.

Underwater photography is one of the most popular specialty diving courses. The digital underwater photographer course gets you going quickly, weather you use a point and shoot camera or an advanced SLR like the pros. The digital underwater photography specialty course can be completed as a standalone specialty by any open water certified diver and includes two dives or it can be completed as part of the advanced open water diver certification as one of the 5 specialties in this course. The practical application of this course includes teaching you principles for good composition, set up and care of equipment, methods for getting great shots quickly and the correct use of camera settings.
